Couple of Visitors Set for This Weekend
2024 El Campo (Texas) athlete Oliver Miles III tells me he'll be on campus on Friday for his first look at Notre Dame. The 6-foot-1, 175-pounder picked up his offer from the Irish on March 1st and he's a player I believe Notre Dame likes quite a bit. Miles certainly doesn't have an offer list of some of Notre Dame's other targets, but the safety position is one position this staff has evaluated quite well over the last few cycles despite the rough ending to the 2023 class. The Irish were on Peyton Bowen, Brandyn Hillman, Adon Shuler, Malik Hartford and to a point Khalil Barnes before most. The Texas native has recently visited Texas Tech and Vanderbilt. Offers: Houston, Notre Dame, Sam Houston, Texas Tech, Tulane, Utah, Utah State and VanderbiltJunior Highlightshttps://www.hudl.com/video/3/16372792/63d006732ab078167c901c0aTwo of the top players in Arkansas will be on campus this weekend as 2024 Valley View (Ark.) linebacker Brian Huff and 2024 Bryant (Ark.) defensive lineman TJ Lindsey will make it to campus. Lindsey is one of Notre Dame's top targets on the defensive line and will be his second trip to campus. It will be Huff's first trip to South Bend, but Lindsey told him his visit to Notre Dame was his best. Lindsey has been to several programs this spring, including Arkansas, LSU, Miami, Missouri, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, SMU, TCU and Texas A&M. Huff has taken recent visits to Central Florida, Florida, Mississippi State and Missouri. 2024 La Salle Academy (R.I.) athlete Justin Denson will also be on campus this weekend after he received his offer in March. Florida, LSU, Michigan State and Texas A&M have recently hosted him. The Irish remain a strong favorite for him, but it was also important to him to check out other programs to figure out what he likes and doesn't like as he already knows everything Notre Dame brings to the table. He also hasn't forgotten Notre Dame was the first major program to offer. Cutter & Buck Silver Notre Dame Fighting Irish Adapt Eco Knit Hybrid Recycled Quarter-Zip

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Notre Dame and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Notre Dame and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
