2025 DE CJ May has decommitted from Notre Dame
2025 Highland Home (Ala.) defensive end CJ May has decommitted from Notre Dame. I believe this is a decision the Notre Dame staff isn't losing sleep over and are fine on it given where they stand with 2025 Warren Central (Ind.) defensive end Damien Shanklin, who the Irish have made a big push for over the last three months. May had also been taking more than a few visits to other programs in recent months. I think the trips to Auburn were something the staff was OK with at first because he has family members playing for the Tigers, but there didn't seem to be much of a need for him to visit Syracuse, etc. Notre Dame Fighting Irish Carson Raglan Quarter-Zip Jacket

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.
