The Latest | 2025 TE Ryan Ghea
2025 Milton (Ga.) tight end Ryan Ghea tells me he won't be on campus this weekend as originally planned. Ghea took visits to Notre Dame back-to-back weekends in the spring. Personally, I think Notre Dame can be picky with the tight end spot given they just landed a commitment from Nate Roberts last week, so not sure this isn't bad news, especially if the Irish land Carter Nelson in 2024. In other words, Notre Dame is just fine at tight end in 2024 and 2025 with one commit in both classes at this stage. Notre Dame Fighting Irish 54" x 84" Team Sweatshirt Blanket

Couple of 2025 tight ends set visits
2025 Leo (Ind.) tight end Brock Schott tells me he'll be at Irish Invasion on June 4th. The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder doesn't hold an offer from the Irish, but the 2025 tight end class is very deep and Notre Dame has made positive impressions on several in the class. I've watched Schott workout multiple times over the years and he's in the process of becoming a solid route runner, which shouldn't be a shock as Dre Muhammad trains him. Muhammad has trained just about every top players and receiver in the Fort Wayne area in the last 10 years, including several Notre Dame targets and players. I think the step for him to get a little more fluid out of his breaks, but all the tools are there for him to be a big-time tight end at the next level. There is no doubt he'll be one of the more polished route runners at his position in the class. pic.twitter.com/b1KEGbQY0E— Matt Freeman (@mattfreemanISD) May 30, 2023 Schott Sophomore Highlightshttps://www.hudl.com/video/3/15722934/634f1d6f8cd3fd08682328632025 Milton (Ga.) tight end Ryan Ghea will return for his third trip this offseason on June 23rd. Ghea was offered on St. Patrick's Day and then made trips to South Bend back-to-back weekends during spring ball. The Georgia native has quickly turned into one of the nation's most coveted tight ends and three visits clearly shows mutual interest. National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.
