Elite 2026 WR Sets Notre Dame Visit
2026 Cedar Grove (Ga.) receiver Devin Carter will visit Notre Dame on April 6th as part of an aggressive spring visit schedule. The 6-foot, 165-pounder was offered on St. Patrick's Day and an early visit is a big deal as it shows he has at least some initial interest in the Irish. Carter is also an NFL legacy as his father, Dexter, played for the 49ers and Jets in the 90s after playing at Florida State. He also coached at Florida State from 2007-2010. That said, Carter committed to Florida State in April of 2023 and then backed off his commitment in January. I said it on Pot of Gold Day, and I'll say it again, but if he's the second-best WR in the class, in my opinion. Big visit for the Irish.
