The Latest | 2026 WR Madden Williams
2026 St. John Bosco (Calif.) receiver Madden Williams made his first visit to Notre Dame on Tuesday and it went very, very well. The 6-foot-2, 186-pounder admitted he had heard quite a bit about Notre Dame heading into the visit, but he still wasn't sure what to expect. Williams said all expectations were exceeded and it sounds like Chansi Stuckey and Marcus Freeman crushed it. Stuckey was able to watch film with him for about 20 minutes, which allowed him to show a small glimpse of his coaching style to Williams. The California native felt it was a tough love type of styles where Stuckey simply wants players to get better and will highlight what they need to do to get better. Freeman's conversation with Williams centered around the opportunities Notre Dame can provide him on and off field. The visit set a tone of what Notre Dame wants in its student-athletes and Williams clearly embraced the message as he rattled off several facts from his conversation with Freeman. Williams will also make stops at Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State during this Midwest swing. Offers: Arizona State, Cal, Campbell, Charlotte, Colorado State, Georgia Tech, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Oregon, San Diego State, Stanford, Texas, UNLV, and WashingtonFreshman Highlightshttps://www.hudl.com/video/3/14791750/633203b7da52570da01d57f1Blue 84 Green Notre Dame Fighting Irish 2023 NCAA Men's Lacrosse National Champions T-Shirt

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.
