The Latest on 2024 DL Nnamdi Ogboko
In talking to sources close to 2024 South Garner (N.C.) DL Nnamdi Ogboko, I believe he has shut his recruitment down and will stick with his commitment to Georgia. The four-star prospect visited Notre Dame for the Ohio State game before visiting a few other programs like Rutgers and Florida, but the Irish left a lasting impression. Heading into this weekend, Ogboko's goal was to figure out if he wanted to have Notre Dame continue recruiting him as there was an in-home visit set for the first week of December. But according to a source, Ogobko weight the pros and cons and will stick with Georgia. The Bulldogs large defensive line class, which could reach eight, was a concern until probably last weekend when he returned to Athens. Ogboko had taken official visits to other programs with other UGA commits, so they all knew the situation and the Georgia staff was able to ease any concerns with him and others last weekend. Tough break for Notre Dame, but the class is still one of the best in the country, so while some might be a little disappointed, the Irish will still have one of the best defensive line classes coming in next year.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1
