Weekend Visitors Note
With the home opener on Saturday, Notre Dame will host several commits and prospects the program is evaluating. As of right now, expect Cam Williams, Styles Prescod, Karson Hobbs and Brauntae Johnson to make their way back to campus for the game. 2024 receiver commit Logan Saldate will get his first look at Notre Dame as he'll be taking his official visit this weekend. CJ Carr and Taebron Bennie-Powell could show up, but it's still up in the air at this point in the week. 2025 running back commit Justin Thurman is also planning to be on campus, but that will likely depend on the storms hitting Florida right now, so if he's not on campus, it's not much to read into. 2025 Snider (Ind.) athlete Brandon Logan will return to campus and he's added his first football offer as Iowa offered him earlier this month. The 6-foot, 170-pounder is currently committed to Vanderbilt for baseball and seems more than content in sticking with it. Another interesting prospect ISD expects on campus is 2025 Zionsville (Ind.) receiver Eugene Hilton. The 6-foot-1, 175-pounder has a solid offer list heading into his junior season and he's a name several schools are watching this fall. Offers: Appalachian State, Austin Peay, Central Michigan, Florida A&M, Florida International, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami, Miami (OH), Ole Miss, Purdue, Toledo, West Virginia, Western Michigan and Wisconsin Sophomore Highlightshttps://www.hudl.com/video/3/16084057/6334776c4210360dfc2f105f2025 Hamilton Southeastern (Ind.) cornerback Mason Alexander is a name I've heard mentioned by several programs over the summer. The 6-foot, 161-pounder is a teammate of 2024 Notre Dame offensive line commit Styles Prescod. Offers: Auburn, Austin Peay, Ball State, Cincinnati, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Missouri, Ole Miss, Pitt, Purdue, Toledo, Vanderbilt, Western Michigan and Wisconsin Sophomore Highlightshttps://www.hudl.com/video/3/17336752/63c733ad34535416b8512e8a2025 Lakota West (Ohio) linebacker Grant Beerman is expected to return to campus after camping at Notre Dame this summer. The 6-foot-4, 215-pounder is an intriguing prospect as most coaches around the Midwest feel he could be a Power 5 player with some development. Beerman is also a teammate of 2024 Notre Dame commit Taebron Bennie-Powell and ran a verified 4.7 40 in the spring. Offers: Boston College, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Duke, Eastern Michigan, Marshall, UMass, Miami (OH), Pitt, Purdue and Toledo Sophomore Highlightshttps://www.hudl.com/video/3/16134057/63cd77fc4ba7a60e40d45cc82025 Noblesville (Ind.) tight end Aiden Brewer is also expected to be in South Bend. The 6-foot-4, 215-pounder holds one Power Five offer as he starts his junior year. Offers: Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Indiana, Marshall, Toledo and Western Michigan Sophomore Highlightshttps://www.hudl.com/video/3/15598582/63c9eac54df6220b9816c208Notre Dame has found success at Upper Arlington HS (Ohio) in recent cycles as transfer punter Ben Krimm and kicker Zac Yoakam hail from the Golden Bear program. 2025 defensive end Cal Thrush will make the trip over from Central Ohio this weekend to get a look at the Irish. Offers: Ball State, Cincinnati and Kent State Sophomore Highlightshttps://www.hudl.com/video/3/12843465/63594ecd0661030e247435142025 Carmel (Ind.) defensive end Uchenyo Ojata is a name I've heard mentioned by a few Group of 5 coaches in recent weeks and he's expected on campus this weekend. Offers: Miami (OH)Sophomore Highlightshttps://www.hudl.com/video/3/16089160/6386422aa018ca0434e8bb2bNotre Dame is also expected to host a local product as Mishawaka (Ind.) defensive lineman Carmine Orozco will make his way to campus. National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.
