2026 LB Simeon Caldwell sets Notre Dame Official
2026 The Bolles School (Fla.) linebacker Simeon Caldwell has set his official visits and Notre Dame will receive one. Caldwell, a frequent visitor to South Bend over the last year, will be back on campus on June 13th. He'll also take officials to Miami, USC and Ohio State. Ohio State will get the final official, while the other two will be before his trip to Notre Dame. Right now, I believe Notre Dame and Ohio State have long been the favorites here, but he's taking his time and has made several visits throughout his recruitment, which will continue this spring as he'll make several trips. This could turn into another classic battle between Marcus Freeman/Max Bullough vs. Ryan Day/James Laurinaitis, which Notre Dame has won with KVA and to a point, Madden Faraimo, as the Irish pulled ahead to make it a battle with the Trojans. That said, Caldwell's decision will be an informed one given his father, Mike, has been in the NFL for years as a defensive coordinator and linebackers coach. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/17779842/66f60fe8777d85e0de61c9d9Under Armour Green Notre Dame Fighting Irish Performance Playoff Polo

2026 LB Talanoa Ili Names Top 7
2026 Orange Lutheran (Calif.) linebacker Talanoa Ili has named a top seven and the Irish have made the cut. The four-star linebacker will take official visits to BYU, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, UCLA and USC. Ili will be in South Bend on June 10th. He'll head to BYU, Oklahoma and UCLA before his trip to Notre Dame and finish with Texas, USC and Oregon. Oregon has long been considered the leader here and I'm not sure I see that changing outside of USC making a move. That said, Notre Dame is in a good position at linebacker as Thomas Davis Jr. is already committed and taking a massive leadership role in the class. Heading into the spring, Tank King and Jakobe Clapper have the Irish in lead and it's likely Simeon Caldwell also has Notre Dame out in front. I am watching Notre Dame's newest offer in Calvin Thomas. Texas sources feel he's a kid who will give Notre Dame a look and he's an absolute freak of an athlete. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/15912519/679d46c06f1fbeeb28811ea7Notre Dame Fighting Irish OHT Military Appreciation Frontier Trucker Adjustable Hat

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Notre Dame and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Notre Dame and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
