Notre Dame's 2027 class is well represented with six commits in the ISD Fab 50

2027 Notre Dame defensive end commit Jackson Vaughn will transfer from Bergen Catholic (N.J.) to IMG Academy (Fla.) for his final year of high school football. This is something the four-star prospect has known was going to happen dating back to weeks before he announced his reclassification to the 2027 class. Bergen Catholic doesn't allow students to reclassify, but there was one point when there was potentially a solution, but at the end of the day, the school held firm. Vaughn was at one point set to transfer to a school in New Jersey, but that school also had second thoughts, given he would be there for essentially just the fall semester. Notre Dame has been very active in everything going on with this, and they are more than fine with him going to IMG as it means he's on track to arrive in South Bend for good this winter. But just wanted to make it very clear this has been in the works dating back to the middle of the spring, but a school wasn't decided until last week. Vaughn will move to IMG on Wednesday.
