2 Notre Dame targets go down with ACL injuries
2019 Serra (Calif.) cornerback Max Williams and 2021 The Bishops School (Calif.) quarterback Tyler Buchner went down with torn ACLs in the first two weeks of the season. Williams is one of the top cornerbacks in the country and really boosted his stock at The Opening over the summer. He's scheduled to take his official visit to Notre Dame for the Stanford game, but pending surgery, we'll see if he makes it then. Buchner picked up an offer from the Irish after an impressive performance at Notre Dame's Elite Skills Camp in June. Michigan LAX likely holds a commitment from him as of now. Buchner committed to Michigan under a previous LAX staff and due to contact rules, he was unsure if the new staff considered him a commitment, but felt he was still committed at the time. So unless something happened in the last month, I would suspect he's technically still a Michigan LAX commit.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.
