2017 VA DE to Watch
Traded a few messages with 2017 Virginia Prep Sports Academy defensive end Hozey Haji-Badri and he tells me Mike Elston has reached out to him. "Coach Elston is my recruiter, he is really impressed with my film," stated the 6-foot-4, 275-pounder. "We went over some of my academic info this morning as well."The Virginia native played at Chantilly in high school and has experience going through the recruiting process, so he is taking it slow and seeing what happens. Haji-Badri was originally 2016 commitment of Temple's recruiting class but decided to reclassify to the 2017 class. "As far as an offer, I believe there a definitely a chance for that just looking at how things are going, but it's something that I am going through one step at a time," Haji-Badri stated. "I am definitely very interested in Notre Dame."Maryland, Rutgers, West Virginia and Iowa State have also expressed interest in him. Maryland, Rutgers and West Virginia have received visits. And from a quick glance at his Twitter, Haji-Badri enjoys lifting a lot of weight. https://twitter.com/CantBlock55/status/816038763067506688https://twitter.com/CantBlock55/status/7983558362718208002016 Highlights https://www.hudl.com/video/3/8073791/57e01bc390f9940de0b31e28
