Notre Dame checked on three more prospects in FLA
Notre Dame continues to work Florida this week. We already told you about the staff swinging by Trinity Catholic (Fla.) this week to check on elite CB Fred Davis. 2020 DE Chantz Williams, 2020 OL Jalen Rivers and 2020 WR Bryce Gowdy also received visits. Williams was offered by Notre Dame last month and has been receptive to the Irish recruiting him. A visit in the summer could happen. Rivers is a teammate of Williams and both prospects were on campus last fall. The four-star prospect doesn't hold an offer from Notre Dame yet, but I'd love to see them offer if everything checks out, Rivers holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State, South Florida, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia Tech.Gowdy is somewhat of a new name. The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder holds offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Boston College, Bowling Green, Florida, FAU, Florida State, Illinois, Louisville, Nebraska, NC State, Penn State, Pitt, Purdue, South Carolina, Syracuse and Temple.Chantz Williamshttps://www.hudl.com/video/3/2788980/5bece316d468870c7c01f5fdJalen Rivershttps://www.hudl.com/video/3/2788975/5becaf855eedac0c1c5bc939Bryce Gowdyhttps://www.hudl.com/video/3/7940274/5bcab301f55f8b03a47adae6

Many 2018 prospects would be glad to trade offer sheets with Florida sophomores Chantz Williams and Jalen Rivers, who were in South Bend together this past weekend.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Notre Dame and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Notre Dame and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
