2021 St. Joseph's (Pa.) receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. just picked up an offer from Notre Dame and Del Alexander on Monday night. Notre Dame has been in contact with him recently and Alexander spoke with his father recently as well. I can tell you Ohio State is the program to beat and Notre Dame as on the fence about offering because of that. Harrison's quarterback, Kyle McCord, is a member of Ohio State's 2021 recruiting class. That said, a source believes Marvin and his father will talk about the recruiting process soon and see where he is at. I know Marvin (dad) visited Notre Dame when he was a recruit and determined it wasn't the place for him, but he's not one to push his thoughts on his son either. Notre Dame receivers coach Del Alexander will be in Central Ohio to check on 2021 Pickerington Central (Ohio) receiver Lorenzo Styles Jr. The four-star prospect was excited last week when I asked if this visit was happening as he knew Mike Elston was in the area, but the staff had told him Del would be by on Monday. Styles and his family have been impressed with how Notre Dame has handled his recruitment, which is reflected by the multiple visits he's made in the last year to South Bend. "Coach Alexander and I talk once a week," said Styles. "We keep up with how we're doing and how sports are going, so right now he's keeping up with my track season. We talk about me getting back up there and how I still have the same love for Notre Dame."Coach Long always comes by. I really like him and my dad really likes him."The Ohio native has also been keeping tabs on the 2021 quarterback situation as Tyler Buchner has committed to Notre Dame and Kyle McCord has committed to his father's alma mater, Ohio State. "Tyler and I are probably closer," Styles said of the two quarterbacks. "We usually text on a weekly basis. Kyle and I have been on some visits together and I talk to him. Both quarterbacks are good guys and good friends."
