Clemson hosting Elite Junior Day
Clemson will host its first Junior Day of the year this weekend. RB Will Shipley and WR Beaux Collins will be in attendance. Notre Dame visited both prospects this week. As I said earlier this week, I think Shipley will eventually narrow things down to Clemson and Notre Dame if he hasn't already. For Collins, I think Clemson might be the team to beat. The Tigers were program that kept coming up last week in Hawaii as his high school quarterback DJ Uiagalelei started classes this month in Clemson. On Sunday, North Gwinnett LB Barrett Carter and CB Jordan Hancock will be at Clemson as well. Clark Lea was at the school earlier this week as well.

National Recruiting Report | Another Top DMV Prospect Committed (But Not to Maryland)
The DMV is loaded with stud recruits this cycle, but new Maryland coach Mike Locksley hasn't been able to gain traction with any of them
On The Opening Regional in Oakland
2020 Notre Dame LB/DE commit Jordan Botelho had a solid day. The four-star prospect worked at linebacker and told me he felt like he had a great day against great competition. 2021 Notre Dame QB commit Tyler Buchner was also in attendance and had a very good day. In fact, Buchner was in the final group which included 2020 Clemson QB commit D.J. Uiagalelei. That bodes well for Buchner as it was his first time back on the field competing in that type of setting since his ACL injury last fall. 2020 safety target Lathan Ransom was impressive according to a source and fully expect him to be in Dallas for The Opening Finals.
