College football went through its watch list phase of the offseason over the last few weeks and now it’s high school football’s turn to take center stage.

MaxPreps released it’s 2019 Preseason High School All-American Team on Monday and Notre Dame’s commits were well represented.

2020 Covington Catholic (Ky.) tight end Michael Mayer‍ earned a nod on first-team after a big junior season and caught the nation’s eye at The Opening earlier this month.

2020 St. Louis (Hawaii) four-star Jordan Botelho‍ made first-team defense at linebacker, the same position he earned an invite to The Opening playing. Botelho will make the transition to drop end at Notre Dame, but it speaks to the caliber of athlete the Irish are getting as he joins top linebackers Justin Flowe, Mekhail, and Sa’vell.

Botelho will be searching for fourth State Title this fall, but his St. Louis squad will have a heck of an opponent to start as they will host Bishop Gorman on August 30th. Bishop Gorman beat St. Louis 52-40 last season.

Fall Camp Special. 3 Months for just $9.99!
