Notre Dame Opens At No. 9 In Coaches Poll

It’s officially college football season as many programs have started fall camp and the first Amway Coaches Poll of 2019 came out on Thursday afternoon. 

Notre Dame checks in at No. 9 and the top ten also holds two opponents on the schedule for the Irish this fall. 

Georgia opens the season at No. 3 while Michigan is two spots ahead of Notre Dame at No.7. 

Stanford rounds out the top 25 by checking in at No. 23. 

Boston College (5), Duke (10), USC (47), Virginia (30) and Virginia Tech (64) also received votes.
