Notre Dame football coach Brian Kelly held his season-opening press conference on Friday afternoon before the Fighting Irish being fall camp on Sunday morning.
 
On sophomore receiver Kevin Austin Jr.:
“He's still on our team, but it's a day-to-day process with him.” 

On offensive lineman Aaron Banks coming off foot surgery:
“Aaron Banks came out wonderfully. He was able to do everything in the last three weeks fully cleared.
