Frank Commentary

Each year is a new season.  All opening games are an insight into your strengths as a team, and the problems you need to address.  After Monday’s performance, my guess is Brian Kelly was a bit surprised by how many problems he has to fix.  

It’s hard to replace good leaders.  It’s difficult to play well every time out, but there really was no excuse for Notre Dame’s lackluster performance on Monday.
