2021 Belleville HS Prospects Planning To Visit Notre Dame
Jamari Buddin planned to make the trip down to South Bend for Notre Dame’s home opener this past weekend, but the 2021 Michigan linebacker had to cancel.
The Belleville High School standout did tell Irish Sports Daily he will “be down very soon.”
Buddin already has a dozen offers from schools like Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Purdue, Kentucky and Florida State among others.
“He’s a great kid,” Belleville head coach Jermain Crowell said. “His upside is through the roof.
“He’s 6-2, about 210, 215 and he’s a 4.5 kid. He’s got the measureables. He’s got a nasty demeanor on the football field to him. He’s going to be a guy.”
Crowell said he has another player, 2021 wide receiver Deion Burks, who could be a great fit for the Irish.
“I think Deion might be a Notre Dame kid,” the coach said of the 5-foot-10, 180-pound wideout.
Burks has early offers from Kentucky, Rutgers, Eastern Michigan and Toledo.
“He’s super explosive,” Crowell continued. “He’s super twitchy, super competitive, super physical. Deion Burks’ grades are through the roof. He’s got grades. He gets Notre Dame.
“He’s a great kid, great family. His dad is like a coach, he’s very involved with him. He comes from a good background. He’s a high academic kid.”
“All of our kids take a look at Notre Dame. It’s one of the top schools in the country. It’s a successful program. It’s Notre Dame.”
