2021 OL Beau Stephens Enjoys "Atmosphere Like No Other" At Notre Dame
Beau Stephens made his first trip to Notre Dame for the Irish’s game against Virginia on Saturday and it wasn’t one the 2021 Missouri offensive lineman is likely to forget anytime soon.
“The atmosphere was like no other I’ve ever experienced before,” Stephens told Irish Sports Daily afterward.
“The visit was very fun and interesting.”
In addition to Notre Dame Stadium, the Blue Springs High School standout had a chance to check out the campus and the locker room.
“I got to briefly talk to Coach (Brian) Kelly and Coach (Jeff) Quinn,” he said of the Irish’s head coach and offensive line coach respectively. “They said they were glad I could come.
“The next step is I just stay I touch with them. I honestly believe I just got on their radar so nothing major soon.”
The 6-foot-6, 305-pounder already has offers from Missouri, Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa and Iowa State.
He’d consider another visit to South Bend if the Irish are serious about him.
“I might visit again if I’m offered or if they really want me down again,” he said.
“I wish I could learn more about the players and coaches and the overall attitude they have for the game of football.”
