Phillippe Wesley‍ got his first look at Notre Dame last weekend and the 2021 Kansas wide receiver liked what he saw.

“It went really well,” the Bishop Miege High School standout said. “It was a good experience.

“I got to see the campus. I got to see the weight room and facilities. I got to see the Heisman trophies and all of that. I also got to see the locker rooms and go in them.”

The Shawnee Mission, Kan., native was impressed with the Gug.

“I thought it looked pretty good,” said Wesley. “It was nice.”

The 5-foot-11, 185-pound junior has offers from Kansas, Missouri and Arizona State.

He enjoyed watching the Irish beat USC 30-27 inside Notre Dame Stadium on Saturday night.

“The atmosphere was great,” said Wesley. “The game was great too. It was closer than I thought it was going to be.”

While in town, Wesley was introduced to Irish wide receivers coach Del Alexander.

“Hopefully I get to go back there soon,” he said. “I’d want to see a normal day in the life of the players.”

Wesley said he doesn’t have any other trips locked in yet.
