Nine three and outs. Nine. Eight of them came with Ian Book at quarterback. He was only in the game for eleven drives so that should give everyone an idea of how well the offense played against Michigan.

Even the one touchdown drive Book led against Michigan should have been a three and out if not for a generous pass interference call against Cole Kmet. It should have been an interception and it only would have been his third of the season.
