Notre Dame doesn’t recruit the Chicago area too much, but when they do, it’s become very clear the prospect is a special talent.

2022 St. Rita (Ill.) receiver Kaleb Brown‍ would fall into that category as the 5-foot-11, 177-pounder recently added an offer from Notre Dame.

“It means a lot to receive an offer from Notre Dame,” Brown stated. “It’s one of my biggest offers right now. It feels amazing to know my talents are being seen by some of the best colleges in the country.”

You likely saw Brown this summer as he went viral for a game-ending catch in a 7-on-7 tournament, which displayed his incredible athletic ability, but also why he’s getting early attention on the recruiting circuit.

Brown is familiar with Notre Dame as he plays on BOOM Football, which has produced several Notre Dame players as Julian Love, Isaiah Robertson, Kyren Williams along with a few others.

“BOOM has had a handful of Notre Dame players,” said Brown. “Houston Griffith and Jordan Johnson, I’m like a little brother to both of them.”

Notre Dame is a school who will have Brown’s attention for that fact alone, but he also had a great trip for camp during the summer.

“When I was on campus for camp last year, it was a huge and memorable experience. The environment and coaches made me feel comfortable and at home.”

As for a return to South Bend, Brown doesn’t have one locked in, but it’s safe to say he’ll be back in the coming months once his season is over.

“I’ve yet to set any visits to schools this spring,” said Brown. “I’ll try to get out to Notre Dame whenever I get the chance.”
