Notre Dame football coach Brian Kelly kicked off Duke week on Monday afternoon. 

On OL Robert Hainsey's status for spring ball:
"Yes. He'll be back. Well, he'll be back by spring. Probably wouldn't put him in a contact situation. He'll be moving, but I doubt we'll have him in a contact situation."

On filling the role of LB Jack Lamb in nickel package:
"We'll probably look at a couple guys right now that we think can fill in.
