Recruitment Rundown
It wasn't a dramatic recruitment has as Keanaaina knew where he wanted to go and actually was a silent commit for almost three months before going public.

The four-star prospect wanted Mike Elston to have a good Christmas and told him of his pledge to the Irish in December of 2018.

In February, Keanaaina told the country of his commitment with a big Notre Dame flag and remained solid in his commitment since.

Six Zero Academy Founder Matt McChesney
“I’d be comfortable sending him to a Daffy Duck coach honestly because Aidan is a hustler,” McChesney says. “But (even more so) just knowing that he’s going to play for Coach Elston and how long Coach has been there with his family rooted in the community. He’s a Michigan Wolverine, so if he’s been at Notre Dame that long, he must really love the place.”

ISD Expert Jamie Uyeyama
I’m pretty high on Keanaaina as a prospect and I don’t believe he is close to the player he can be. I see a frame that can put on a lot of muscle over the next few years and be 320-plus while maintaining his athleticism. Notre Dame hasn’t had that type of nose tackle in quite awhile.

He's made huge strides over the last two seasons with his lateral mobility and overall technique. I can see him eventually becoming a multi-year starter at one-technique if he reaches his potential.

Favorite ISD quote
“I love to be in the trenches. I love doing the dirty work and going against those big offensive linemen. I like stopping the run and getting a pass rush."
