It wasn't a tough decision for the nation's top long snapper as he visited campus in the winter of 2018 and then received an offer in April. 

Five days later, Peitsch committed to Notre Dame.

Peitsch has almost seven minutes of perfect snaps on his senior highlight tape. That’s longer than most position players have for great plays and I could argue that many could stand to cut a handful of plays.

He looks like he’ll be ready to step in and fill John Shannon’s shoes immediately and it would not be surprising to see him follow in his footsteps as a future Mannelly Award winner.
