I won’t be surprised if Iowa State beats Notre Dame.

That doesn’t mean they should beat the Irish.

Here’s the list of teams who have beaten Notre Dame the last three seasons: Georgia (twice), Michigan, Clemson, Stanford, and Miami. The Irish didn’t have a considerable talent advantage over any of those teams. They will have that over Iowa State.

Iowa State Matt Campbell said it in his media availability this week. Notre Dame does not beat themselves.
