2023 QB Brennan Storer Enjoys First Notre Dame Trip

Brennan Storer‍ had the chance to visit Notre Dame last month for the Irish’s home finale against Boston College and the 2023 Texas quarterback was impressed.

“It was great,” the 5-foot-11, 175-pound freshman said afterward. “I really enjoyed the visit. I got a good tour of the campus. I got good insight to what it’s like to play football there. I really liked the atmosphere of the game, the energy of the fans. It was a cool place to be.

“The facilities are great. It’s definitely something I expected from a school like that.”

The Dallas native was impressed with what he saw from the Irish during their 40-7 blowout of the Eagles.

“I like their offensive system, spreading out the field a little bit,” said Storer. “It’s definitely something we run at my high school. There’s a good bit of similarities between the offenses. Like I said, the energy of the stadium was great, the fans were great. It was a good time.”

While in town, the Highland Park High School product had the chance to speak with a few coaches.

“I just got a feel for the stuff they’re looking for in recruits and what they value off the field and what they’re looking for in kids,” Storer explained.

“I really like the coaching staff. I think they have good beliefs, push their kids, they’re understanding. They really get behind their kids to make them the best players and men they can be.”

As a 2023 prospect, it’s obviously very early in the process, but he already has a Kansas offer along with a couple others. He’s still a long way from naming any leaders.

“I’ve just been focusing on getting bigger, faster and stronger,” he said. “It’s definitely one of my dream schools to say the least. I could really see myself there, a strong family environment. I feel like my morals and my values line up with the school. I’ll definitely be back when I’m older.

“I’m just taking it day by day. If I feel like I want to go somewhere else and I can make it work, then I will. But right now, I’m just focused on training and getting ready for next year.”
