Notre Dame RB Tony Jones Jr. Headed To The NFL

Notre Dame running back Tony Jones Jr. has declared for the 2020 NFL Draft and will bypass his fifth season in South Bend. 

The 5-foot-11, 224-pounder ran for 857 yards and six touchdowns while catching 15 passes for 104 yards and one touchdown in 2019. 

The Florida native ends his Notre Dame career with 1,481 yards and 14 touchdowns. 

Jones ended his career on a high note by rushing for 135 yards, including an 84-yard touchdown run against Iowa State over the weekend. 

The 100-yard performance was his fifth of the 2019 season, which included a career-high 176 yards against USC in the 30-27 win in October.
