There was no position for Notre Dame that came into the 2019 season with more questions than linebacker. After the first week, those questions still remained.

Louisville rushed for 230 yards against the Irish. Mike linebacker Drew White missed tackles. So did Rover Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, who threw in some poor run fits as well. Asmar Bilal looked extremely average with his move inside to Buck.

If you were scared about what that group would do during the season, you had every right to be.
