Season Review | Defensive Tackle
Notre Dame lost two starters at defensive tackle after the 2018 season and came into 2019 with a young group. There was zero starting experience and only two players entering their third year in the program. The rest were sophomores and freshmen.
With the youth, inexperience, and lack of size at the position, many were justifiably worried about how they would hold up against a bigger offensive line like Georgia’s.
