Notre Dame’s offense has turned a corner once ACC play started and the Irish will have a chance to win a second consecutive conference game on Saturday as Georgia Tech comes to Purcell Pavilion.

The Irish won in Atlanta a little over two weeks ago, so getting to 4-6 in ACC play is a significant reality for Mike Brey’s club.

The biggest question entering Saturday’s game will be the status of Georgia Tech’s leading scorer Michael Devoe (16.2 ppg), who has missed the last two games due to injury. Georgia Tech head coach Josh Pastner said Devoe will travel to South Bend and it will be a game time decision.

For Notre Dame, it will come down to doing what they’ve been doing the last two weeks. The Irish have seen its sophomore class rise up with Nate Laszewski stepping up earlier this week with 18 points in the win over Wake Forest.

Can Laszewski build on it? We’ll see. If so, the Irish could finally be getting what they’ve needed for the last year from the bench, which is scoring.

As with any game, Notre Dame’s three-point shooting will play a factor on Saturday. The Irish will win if they hit 10 three-pointers and win the battle on the boards by three.

“Let’s get another one,” said Brey. “When you’re in this league, where we are now, you’re living day-to-day man.

“Now let’s see if we can sweep Georgia Tech, that will be a challenge, and win another one at home.”

Prediction: Notre Dame 82 Georgia Tech 71
