BREAKING | Safety Justin Walters Has Committed To Notre Dame
2021 Bolingbrook (Ill.) safety Justin Walters planned to take more visits, but a visit to Notre Dame on Saturday ended his recruitment.
The 6-foot-2, 170-pounder has committed to Notre Dame less than 24 hours after he left South Bend and it's a commitment he's not taking lightly as he feels blessed even to have an offer.
“It means a lot from a prestigious institution like Notre Dame; to mean a lot to them is like a dream come true," said Walters. "I never even thought I would have D-I offers in the first place.”
Notre Dame has made Walters a priority in recent months and the staff has made several visits to his school in recent weeks, but they've also given him his space.
“It means a lot just because they’re showing me that I’m a priority, but they’re also not being extra about it.
"I like Notre Dame and the coaching staff because I know where they stand and they don’t have to be over the top about it. I appreciate that.”
