It’s obvious Blake Miller‍ will be one of the top prospects in the Midwest in the Class of 2022 and probably in the entire country.

The Ohio offensive lineman already has offers from schools like Michigan, Northwestern, Iowa State, Kentucky, Indiana, Pitt and Cincinnati among others.

He’s clearly on Notre Dame’s radar and after a visit to Strongsville High School, Irish assistant Mike Elston was able to invite Miller to South Bend for this past weekend’s Junior Day.

“I saw Coach Elston at school and he said he wanted me come to ND and see (offensive line coach Jeff) Quinn and all the facilities,” Miller said of the invitation.

Miller made the trip and was impressed.

“I got to learn all about the academic prowess, football achievements, and facilities,” he said.

“I got to see all the football facilities.”

He also had a chance to speak with some of the staff members.

“I got to talk to Coach Quinn and learn about Notre Dame as a whole,” said Miller.

Quinn explained that he’d like to see the 6-foot-6, 315-pounder again.

“Coach Quinn said he wanted me to come for camp in the summer and that is something I’m considering doing,” said Miller.

The Irish made a strong initial impression.

“I like Notre Dame and I like coach Quinn a lot.”
