Making the Leap this Spring

Spring ball is a time for introductions, installations, and refinement. It’s also an opportunity for many players to expand their role on this year’s team.

No one took more advantage of that than Chase Claypool last spring.

Notre Dame’s coaching staff moved him to the boundary after spending the previous two seasons on the opposite side. He was productive there (79 catches, 1,041 yards, 13.1 yards per reception), but was not a difference-maker.
