Position Battles to Watch this Spring

For the second straight year, Notre Dame won’t have a quarterback battle in the spring. That’s unusual for Brian Kelly’s tenure, but a welcome sight because stability at that spot is so important for any football program.

That doesn’t mean there aren’t going to be some compelling position battles to watch. And they won’t necessarily be for starting positions.

There will be battles to crack the two-deep.
