Empty feeling: Notre Dame, ACC prep for closed venues

Notre Dame kept its 2019-20 season alive Wednesday with a win against Boston College in the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament. But Notre Dame, like all major college teams, will find an empty venue Thursday when play resumes.

Mike Brey helped guide Notre Dame to its 20th win of the 2019-20 season, its 10th all-time in postseason play since it joined the Atlantic Coast Conference seven years ago and into Thursday’s quarterfinals.

The Fighting Irish dispatched Boston College 80-58 inside the Greensboro (N.C.). Coliseum in their ACC postseason opener.
