Notre Dame Makes the Cut For 2021 Cornerback DJ Harvey

2021 Sierra Canyon (Calif.) cornerback DJ Harvey‍ released his top eight on Wednesday evening and Notre Dame made the cut. 

Arizona State, Cal, Kansas, LSU, Notre Dame, Oregon, USC and Virginia Tech will fight for the commitment from the four-star prospect. 

Del Alexander offered a scholarship to Harvey in January and made sure Harvey knew the staff loved his skill set. 

“He said I had great ball skills, asked what I if I knew anything about Notre Dame, just like a catch-up conversation,” Harvey told ISD in January. 

“They really see me as a top player. They see a lot of talent in me and that I could fit in and come in and do well early.”

Harvey was supposed to visit in March, but his 7-on-7 team couldn't make it. The plan was for Harvey and his family to get out on an unofficial visit and then an official visit. 

We'll see what happens moving forward, but the Irish are definitely a program that has the family interested as well.
