Stop By The Saloon
Like everywhere else in the world right now, conversations in The Saloon have been dominated by talked of the Coronavirus over the last couple weeks.
It’s served as both an escape and a place to ask questions and share thoughts on this historic time period we’re living through.
Not sure if you’ve heard of it yet, it’s still kind of under the radar at this point in society, but Matt discovered a quaint documentary on Netflix about a fella who owned a zoo dedicated to Big Cats.
There was not one, but two threads on Season 3 of Ozark, which you can check out here and here. To be honest, I don’t know what’s in them because they contain spoilers and I haven’t finished, but I’m sure there’s nothing but high-quality takes within.
Similarly, Jamie’s thread on Shows To Binge Over Lockdown continues to evoke a ton of responses.
Obviously, a lot of prayers to one of our Mods who has been under the weather recently, but remaining in good, humor-filled spirits, in this thread.
Some interesting opinions on Florida in this thread, started in response to the state finally starting to close things down.
Ruend shared some scary trends in the Detroit area.
Always good to have a Beer Thread, which why we have one tacked to the top.
The Saloon was started as a venue for ISD members to continue to foster the sense of community they’d already built around the shared interest of Notre Dame Football. We need that sense of community more than ever now, at ISD and everywhere else.
