2020 NFL Draft | DE Khalid Kareem Drafted By Cincinnati
Defensive end Khalid Kareem came off the board with the 147 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and is headed to Cincinnati.
The 6-foot-4, 270-pounder recorded 108 tackles, 26.0 tackles for loss, 13.0 sacks, deflected eight passes, forced four fumbles and recovered two fumbles during his time with Notre Dame.
The Michigan native committed to Michigan State and Alabama before signing with the Irish as a recruit. Kareem led Notre Dame with three forced fumbles in 2019.
Kareem will now work to rehab from labrum (shoulder) surgery in January. The plan is similar to that of Jerry Tillery a year ago as Kareem hopes to be ready for training camp...whenever that might be.
