2020 NFL Draft | Steelers draft Notre Dame's Claypool
Chase Claypool has transformed from little-known prospect to NFL Draft pick.
The Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada, native was selected asdasth overall Friday night, the 17th in the second round of the Draft and 49th overall.
A basketball and football player coming out of high school, the 6-foot-4-inch Claypool transformed himself into the Fighting Irish’s No. 7 all-time leader with 150 career receptions. He closed with 2,159 yards and 19 touchdowns.
Claypool turned heads earlier this year at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, when he weighed 238 pounds and still clocked a 4.40-second 40-yard dash.
