Julian Okwara is joining his brother in the NFL.

The former Notre Dame defensive end and 2019 team captain was drafted 67th overall, the third pick in the third round, Friday night in the NFL’s 2020 Draft.

Okwara, whose brother Romeo also shined for the Fighting Irish and has carved a career with the Detroit Lions after being an undrafted free agent, capped his Notre Dame career with 45 career games in which he amassed 23 tackles for losses, including 15 sacks. Okwara’s breakout season came during the Irish’s run to the 2018 College Football Playoffs when he recorded 12.5 tackles behind the line of scrimmage.
