Brian Kelly Notebook: USC

72,402 were in attendance to see Notre Dame fall to USC 45-27, but the question on everyone’s mind was about the future of head coach Brian Kelly. Was it his last game coaching the Blue and Gold? Not if he has anything to say about it.

“Oh yeah, absolutely,” Kelly said when asked if he would be Notre Dame’s coach in 2017. “I’ll be back.”

Kelly isn’t accustomed to losing season, let alone a season of 4-8.
