According to Irish Sports Daily sources and an ESPN report from Heather Dinich, Notre Dame's football program will begin to report back to campus next week.

Ron Powlus and team physicians had a call on Thursday evening with parents and their families to go over Notre Dame's plan of action as the Morris Inn will serve as the residence for the team once they return to campus.

Once players arrive back on campus, they will be tested for the coronavirus and those who pass the test can begin voluntary workouts on June 22nd.

Per Dinich, the workout groups will be no larger than 10 players as part of Notre Dame's three-phase plan.

In addition to the testing, Notre Dame will take temperatures of the players daily and fill out a symptom survey before entering The Gug or facilities.

"One kid's experience from the rural Midwest may look very, very different from someone who's from New Jersey," Hunt told ESPN. "We've got to be willing to understand that their beliefs and their experiences can differ from ours. How do we help them get through that? How do we calm their anxiety and fears, or even how do we contain the ones that have no fear?

"Our plan is a great plan. Now how do we adapt that into our wide range of experiences through our kids, trying to get them to all believe and feel they're being very-well taken care of?"

ESPN is also reporting that Phase 2 will be group sizes of no more than 50 people, which would be followed by an unlimited number of people in Phase 3.

Notre Dame will not move on to the next phase unless the previous one has worked and ESPN states there will be follow up testing if an individual has symptoms or tests positive.

A source close to the program believes players who will be returning by flying will return next week with players who will be driving arriving a few days later followed by those already in South Bend.
