Traction Athletic Performance put on one of the few camps of the year in Indiana on Saturday. The Midwest Exposure Camp brought in kids from across the state, but the top performer was 2022 Leo (Ind.) offensive lineman Landen Livingston‍.

The 6-foot-4, 280-pounder was dominant in the trenches and showed why he holds early offers from Arizona State, Cincinnati, Indiana, Michigan State and Purdue.

"It went very well," Livingston said. "I was excited to be out here and obviously there aren't many camps this year. I'm excited to be out here competing and trying to get myself better for the season."

Notre Dame is a program that has started to research Livingston in recent weeks and it has the Leo star intrigued.

"They asked for my transcripts," stated Livingston. "Aaryn Kearney, their Director of Recruiting, reached out and asked for coaches information and all that stuff. You don't really know because academically, they put that high up so you gotta respect how they choose and all that."

While it's early, Livingston was open about how much an offer from the Fighting Irish would mean to him.

"That'd be awesome, especially with them having great offensive lines and a great football program," said Livingston. "It would be absolutely amazing."

Livingston is being recruited to play guard or center, so he'll have a choice to make before he picks a program.

"A lot of them have been offensive guard," explained Livingston. "They like my pulling, agility and how I can block at the second level. Some schools have reached out about playing center. I played center at a young age, so I'm fine with whatever.

"Believe it or not, I had a school reach out and want me to play defensive line. We'll see what happens with that, but you don't know what they're going through and all that."

While the offer from Notre Dame would be significant, Livingston didn't grow up with one specific team he dreamed of playing for.

"My family is split into different teams, so I grew up without one favorite," laughed Livingston. "This experience has been amazing."

Livingston has seen several family members end up at Purdue for college, but it won't have an impact on his decision.

"Not really," stated Livingston. "Obviously, with my close family of five, we have to make the right decision where I go. It's family-first for me. We'll see what happens and we'll have discussions and all that."

Livingston is also quick to give credit to the staff at Traction Athletic Performance for helping get to this point.

"I love Traction," said Livingston. "I work out there three times a week and they push me to get to my potential. I have a lot of respect for them and everyone should do Traction. It's the best thing ever."
