As August approaches, Notre Dame’s 2021 recruiting class has filled needs on the defensive side of the ball and the next six months will be focused on adding elite talent. Notre Dame needed two big-time cornerbacks and accomplished that goal with the commitment of Ryan Barnes last month. Now, the Irish can focus on landing an elite cornerback or safety, while adding quality depth at linebacker.
