It's a quote that has stuck with Brian Kelly since he said it after losing Tulsa in year one. Notre Dame could have chosen to play safe and kick the field goal for the win, but Kelly chose to go for the jugular with a deep pass in the end zone. That pass was picked off and when questioned about the decision after the game, Kelly was adamant in saying that he wasn't going to change the way he coaches.
