Notre Dame Picked 2nd in ACC, Banks & Owusu-Koramoah Earn Recognition
Notre Dame in the partnering with the ACC in 2020 means the ACC Preseason Football Selections mean a little more to Fighting Irish fans.
134 media members took part in the poll and 132 voted Clemson to win the ACC, while Notre Dame did receive the remaining two votes.
To no one's surprise, Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence was named ACC Player of the Year with 100 ballots, while Clemson running back Travis Etienne finished second with 30 votes. Notre Dame quarterback Ian Book finished tied for third with one vote.
Notre Dame offensive lineman Aaron Banks and linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah were named to the 2020 All-ACC Preseason Football Team.
