Prolific isn’t the best word to describe Notre Dame’s performance on offense. A word like clinical fits better.

6.65 yards per play before garbage time is good, but not mind blowing. Who needs mind blowing when a team can be efficient and suffocating with a relentless running game? After a very average run blocking against Duke, Notre Dame’s offensive line, tight ends, and receivers came out and enforced their will on a small, but fast South Florida defense.
