BREAKING | Notre Dame DL Ja'mion Franklin Enters Transfer Portal

Notre Dame junior defensive tackle Ja'mion Franklin has entered the Transfer Portal according to multiple sources. 

The 6-foot-1, 310-pounder saw action against South Florida this year, but hasn't participated in the other four games of the season for the Irish in 2020. 

As a sophomore, Franklin returned to the field after an injury that limited his freshman season to just one game. In 2019, the Maryland native recorded four tackles in nine games. 

Franklin chose the Irish over Boston College, Duke, East Carolina, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Louisville, Navy, Northwestern, Pitt, Rutgers, Syracuse, Temple, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Wake Forest and Wisconsin. 

As always, a player can remove his name from the Transfer Portal at a later date.
